Rita graduated from the University of Sydney in 2012 and joined the lovely team at Ryde Vet in 2025 as the Lead Vet. Prior to working at Ryde Vet, Rita began her career in the Sutherland Shire, working at a large suburban vet hospital, then progressed to become a senior veterinarian and Hospital Director at 2 vet hospitals for 6 years. Rita enjoys all areas of veterinary science, and particularly enjoys being able to connect with pet families. Rita has 2 domestic shorthair cats, Sesame the chunky senior and Calbee the cheeky. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with family and planning her next travel destination.
